Our mission is to empower local communities—especially in rural areas—by providing the tools, training, and resources needed to grow, raise, and preserve their own food.

Alaska’s heavy reliance on imported food makes our communities vulnerable to supply chain disruptions, natural disasters, and geopolitical instability. By increasing local food production, we help ensure that Alaskans have reliable access to fresh, nutritious food, regardless of external challenges.

We support this mission by procuring essential agricultural equipment, offering hands-on training in farming, canning, livestock care, and foraging, and fostering community through education and collaboration. By working alongside farmers, families, and community leaders, we aim to build a more resilient and food-secure Alaska—one harvest at a time.
